There’s nothing better than celebrating the gift of adoption. It’s a gift for infertile couples, for children who have lost parents through no fault of their own, and it’s a joy to our Heavenly Father. If you’re someone who says, “I’m not sure I could ever love a child that’s not mine”—guess what? I’m an adoptive father, and I felt the same way when my wife and I decided to look into it. Now, after more than 14 years, we couldn’t imagine our lives without our daughter. The bond we have may be stronger because the adoption process was so difficult.
